- 2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion, slicing carrots and celery, and mincing garlic.

- Transfer sautéed onions and garlic to the crockpot along with sliced carrots and chopped celery.
- Place chicken breasts on top of the vegetables and pour in enough chicken broth to cover everything (about 6 cups).
- Sprinkle dried thyme along with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in egg noodles and allow them to cook until tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary; garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
