- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and thinly slice the potatoes (about 1/8 inch thick).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté diced onions until translucent (about 5 minutes).
- Grease your Crock Pot with nonstick spray. Layer half of the potatoes at the bottom, followed by half of the ham, half of the sautéed onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and one cup of cheese.
- Pour half of the heavy cream over the layers.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients: potatoes, ham, onions, seasonings, cheese, topping with leftover cream.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
