  • 1 lb beef flank steak, sliced against the grain
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips. Chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces and mince garlic and ginger.
  2. 2. Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add vegetable oil and brown the beef for about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. 4. Pour in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and cornstarch mixture.
  5. 5. Secure the lid and set to high pressure for 10 minutes. Allow natural release for another 10 minutes before manually releasing any remaining pressure.
  6. 6. Add broccoli florets, secure the lid again, and cook on high pressure for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Serve over rice or noodles.
