- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Black pepper to taste
- Rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Mince garlic and chop green onions.
- Combine honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and black pepper in a bowl. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides (5-7 minutes per side).
- Remove chicken briefly, add remaining marinade to deglaze the pan, scraping up flavorful bits.
- Return chicken to the skillet with any juices. Cover and simmer on low for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve over rice or noodles.
