Description

Lemon Garlic Pasta is a vibrant, zesty dish that combines aromatic garlic and fresh lemon for a deliciously quick meal ready in just 20 minutes.


Ingredients

  • Spaghetti or linguine
  • Fresh garlic
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh lemon juice and zest
  • Chopped parsley
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until golden brown.
  3. Add fresh lemon juice and zest to the skillet; simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Drain pasta (reserve some water) and add it to the skillet with garlic mixture, parsley, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Toss well, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Serve immediately with extra cheese and parsley on top.
