- 1 lb ground beef (lean)
- 12 oz fresh or frozen ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- ½ cup parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 7-10 minutes; drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes until heated through.
- In the greased baking dish, layer half of the beef mixture, half of the ravioli, and half of the cheese blend.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, finishing with Italian seasoning on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
