- 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti

- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk)
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Mince garlic and cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
- Cook pasta: Boil salted water, add pasta, and cook until al dente, then drain.
- Sauté garlic: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add broccoli: Toss in broccoli florets with a splash of water, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes.
- Cook shrimp: Uncover the pan, add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque (about 3-5 minutes).
- Create sauce: Stir in cream and lemon juice; combine well. Add cooked pasta and toss until everything is coated.
- Serve hot topped with Parmesan cheese.
