  • 6 cups low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil and parsley, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage until golden. Add onions, carrots, celery, and bell peppers; sauté until softened.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and tomato paste until fragrant.
