  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
