  • 1 package (16 oz) phyllo dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup honey, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Layer half of the phyllo sheets in the pan, brushing each with melted butter. Sprinkle half of the mixed nuts (walnuts, pistachios, sugar, and cinnamon) over the top.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in sour cream, eggs, lemon zest, and sugar until creamy.
  4. Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the nut layer. Layer more phyllo sheets brushed with butter and remaining nuts on top.
  5. Pour remaining cheesecake filling over the last nut layer. Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set but center jiggles slightly.
  6. Cool before drizzling with honey before serving.
