- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Cut in softened butter until crumbly.
- In another bowl, combine blackberries with sugar, lemon juice, and salt.
- Press half of the crumble mixture into the baking dish. Spread blackberry filling on top and sprinkle remaining crumble over it.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
