  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and pit the cherries, then chop them into small pieces.
  2. Finely chop the red onion and jalapeño pepper. Remember to wash your hands after handling the spicy pepper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine chopped cherries, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
