- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by lining a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and quickly fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
- Stir in half of the chocolate chips while the mixture is still warm, then add peppermint extract.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, pressing down evenly.
- Let it cool at room temperature until set.
- Melt remaining chocolate chips in the microwave and drizzle over the cooled treats. Top with crushed candy canes before it hardens.
