Description

Indulge in a homemade Nutella that’s rich, creamy, and utterly irresistible. This delightful spread combines the robust flavors of roasted hazelnuts and high-quality cocoa powder, creating a breakfast treat that’s perfect for toasts, pancakes, or as a sweet gift. Whip it up on a leisurely Sunday morning and share the joy with family and friends!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup raw hazelnuts
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (plus more if needed)
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread hazelnuts on a baking sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  2. Let the hazelnuts cool slightly, then rub them in a clean kitchen towel to remove loose skins (optional).
  3. In a food processor, blend roasted hazelnuts until creamy, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and salt. Blend until smooth; adjust consistency by adding more oil if needed.
  5. Transfer to a clean jar and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
