  • 2 lbs russet potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Wash and slice russet potatoes into 1/8-inch thick rounds.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until warmed through.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer sliced potatoes, pour some creamy sauce over them, and sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Repeat layering until ingredients are used.
