  • 10 oz kunafa dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1 tsp rose water or orange blossom water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix the melted butter with the kunafa dough until well coated.
  2. In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water over low heat until dissolved; stir in rose or orange blossom water and simmer until slightly thickened.

  4. Spoon kunafa mixture into muffin tins and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown; cool slightly.
  5. Fill each kunafa shell with cream using a piping bag, drizzle with syrup, and sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.
