  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries or raspberry puree

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a large bowl, then stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of raspberry puree on top and swirl with a knife. Add remaining batter and repeat.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges pull away from the sides and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
