Instructions
- Wash strawberries thoroughly and slice off the green tops.
- If making homemade shortcake, preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Mix 2 cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 cup butter until crumbly. Add 3/4 cup milk until combined.
- Spoon dough onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooled, cut shortcakes into bite-sized pieces.
