  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes until well mixed.
  2. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Pour half of the sweet chili sauce into the bottom of a crockpot.
  4. Arrange meatballs in the crockpot and drizzle remaining sweet chili sauce over them.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until meatballs are tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
