  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 cups beef broth (or stock)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, sauté minced garlic and chopped onions until softened.
  2. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned.
  3. Stir in chili powder, then add diced tomatoes and kidney beans.
