- 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1 oz)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Monterey Jack)
Instructions
- Chop the onion and mince the garlic. Set aside the roasted green chiles.
- In your slow cooker, layer the chicken breasts at the bottom. Top with the chopped onions and garlic; sprinkle taco seasoning evenly.
- Pour in the chicken broth until ingredients are submerged. Add in the roasted green chiles.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix in softened cream cheese until melted and creamy.
- Just before serving, top with shredded cheese and let it melt.
