Ingredients

Salad Base

  • 2 cans canned chicken drained and shredded
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup mayonnaise adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard optional
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 cup chopped bell pepper any color
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup chopped nuts such as almonds or walnuts

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken Salad

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained canned chicken, diced celery, halved grape tomatoes, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated with mayonnaise.
  • If using, fold in any optional add-ins like bell pepper, green onions, or nuts.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
