Ingredients

For the Chicken Patties

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for grilling

For Serving

  • 4 buns burger buns toasted
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese optional
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise for spreading
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken Patties

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

Grill the Patties

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  • Place the chicken patties on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Assemble the Burgers

  • Toast the burger buns on the grill until golden brown.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, add the grilled chicken patty, top with lettuce, tomato, and ketchup, then place the top half of the bun.

Notes

Feel free to customize your burger with additional toppings like pickles, avocado, or your favorite sauces.
