Ingredients

Cheese Mixture

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa mild or hot, based on preference
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

Prepare the Cheese Dip

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream cheese and sour cream. Stir until smooth.
  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin to the saucepan. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the mixture is well combined.
  • Once the dip is smooth and creamy, remove from heat and serve warm with tortilla chips or vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier dip, use hot salsa or add diced jalapeños.
