  • 1 teaspoon Salt Sea salt or kosher salt.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Freshly ground, to taste.

Instructions

Prep the Ingredients

  • Gather all your ingredients for the olive oil pasta, including fresh pasta, olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, and fresh herbs. Chop the garlic finely.

Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fresh pasta and cook according to package instructions, usually around 2 to 4 minutes. Reserve about half a cup of pasta water before draining.

Prepare the Sauce

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring gently until the garlic turns golden brown, about 30 seconds.

Combine Pasta and Sauce

  • Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the olive oil and garlic. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to bind the sauce.
