Ingredients

Salmon Patties

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet skin removed, diced
  • 1 cup bread crumbs preferably panko
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 whole burger buns toasted
  • 1 cup lettuce for serving
  • 1 tomato sliced for serving
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon Mixture

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced salmon, bread crumbs, beaten egg, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the Patties

  • Divide the salmon mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

Cook the Patties

  • Preheat the grill or frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers

  • Place each salmon patty on a toasted burger bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and tartar sauce. Serve immediately.

Notes

These salmon burgers can be customized with your favorite toppings and sauces. They are also great served with a side of sweet potato fries.
