Ingredients

Sausage

  • 1 pound Italian sausage sliced

Vegetables

  • 2 medium bell peppers sliced (red and green)
  • 1 medium onion sliced

Seasoning

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Oil

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Cooking the Sausage

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced Italian sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Adding Vegetables

  • Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.

Seasoning

  • Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the sausage and peppers. Stir to combine and cook for another 3-5 minutes.

Serving

  • Serve hot, either on its own or with crusty bread or over rice.

Notes
