  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced
  • 1 medium Onion Diced
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth Low-sodium
  • 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning Pre-packaged or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Chopped
  • 8 pieces Tortillas Corn or flour
  • Your Favorite Toppings Avocado, sour cream, salsa, or cheese

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken

  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and cumin. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, and sear chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Shred the Chicken

  • Transfer cooked chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes. Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Create the Flavor Base

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to low, add diced onions and minced garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until onions are translucent.

Add Seasonings

  • Stir in taco seasonings and mix well with onions and garlic for 2 minutes.

Combine Everything

  • Return shredded chicken to the skillet with a splash of chicken broth. Stir over medium heat for 5 minutes until heated through.
